Complaints Mini-Football
Margam Village Sports FC has more a growing number of children and we
want them and their parents/guardians to enjoy football however we do occassionally get things wrong and we
rely on positive feedback in order to improve things.
At the end of last season the main complaint was to do with the end
of season presentations, we have many more age groups now and in hindsight we did get it wrong and the club learnt
from this.
This season all age groups in mini-football will receive the
same awards regardless of whether they are playing in a league or not.
Another frequent comment is that a parent feels their son or
daughter should be playing not watching as a substitute.
The
coaching staff want to make training and playing football fun to participate in and to watch, we have a lot of
children participating at all levels and we will do our best to make sure everyone gets an equal amount of time
playing in matches.
We use
subs a lot to acheive this especially if more players turn up than were expected.
The
younger age groups have smaller teams and this will result in the unfortunate position that we have a few
talented players standing on the sidelines on occasssions even when the team may be losing. If all the players
turned up all the time we could have 2 teams in most age groups which would alleviate this problem but it
would also mean we need more people to coach them.
We came to the conclusion that we need to put in place a
formal complaints procedure for the new season so that issues like this are cleared up as quickly as
possible.
Complaints regarding
training/matches/ bullying etc.
Please
talk to the team coach if you have any complaints regarding training/team
selections/bullying/coaching.
If your
team coach does not satisfactorily answer your complaint please bring it to the attention of the club welfare
officer.
Complaints regarding financial issues & subs
collections
Please talk to the admin team if there are any complaints
regarding subs. We have a few new volunteers for subs collections and they should be able to answer most
queries.
If you feel your complaint was not answered
satifactorily only then see the team coach
Only contact the club secretary if the admin team or team coach can not resolve the
issue please.
Reminder: We are all unpaid volunteers not paid professional coaches, please
do not verbally or physically abuse members of the coaching/admin staff who give up a lot of their time to try and
make this club a success.
